My name is Suzy and I am writing on behalf of my sister Krystle Delgado Felten.
Krystle, who is 27, got married in April of 2011,
after returning from the Navy. In mid November,
she moved from Eagle Rock, CA to Yuma,
AZ to set up her new home and await her husband’s return
from his deployment in Afghanistan.
One week later, she found herself in the emergency room
due to what she thought was a bad sinus infection.
She was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and was flown by helicopter
to the U of A Medical Center in Tucson, AZ.
There, Krystle went through one round of chemotherapy,
and a one-month stay in the hospital.
Currently, she is receiving care at City of Hope, in Los Angeles,
undergoing continued chemotherapy treatment.
The only cure for the leukemia is to find a bone marrow donor—this is where you come in.
Being a bone marrow donor involves marrow compatibility all the way down to the genetic level.
As Krysle’s sister, I had a 30% chance of being a match, but unfortunately, I was not.
So now we are turning to the National Bone Marrow Registry to find an unrelated donor match.
There are 10 million people on the registry yet only 25% are of ethnic decent and only 9% of mixed ethnic decent.
We are Filipino and Mexican American and because bone marrow is inherited,
her bone marrow donor will likely be someone of similar ethnic backgrounds.
So what am I asking?– I am asking everyone to join the National Bone Marrow Registry.
By joining the registry you consent to taking a simple test that consists of swabbing the inside of your cheek
and filling out a consent form stating that you are willing
to donate your bone marrow in order to save Krystle’s life or the life of another if called upon.
If you are Filipino, Mexican or a mix of Filipino and Mexican,
aged 18-60, you have the highest chances of being a match for Krystle!
Please join us at 8:00am on February 25th, 2012 at Eagle Rock City Hall for our first of many bone marrow drives to find Krystle’s match.
Visit Krystle’s Facebook page at
to find a list of additional bone marrow drives being held for her.
Go to bethematch.org
where you can find a local bone marrow drive near you or request a kit via mail.

We went to see on New Years eve.
It was such a beautiful movie, the costumes, the story, the colors are
so amazing. It is a movie for older kids I would say because it is not fast and it is long.
I love slow movies when they are great of course.
I would highly recomend this movie!

I love this toy store and learning about .

A clip I found from by
The original movie has been hand colored and is available to see again.
I read maybe first Sci Fi movie ever ! (from 1902) .

Our Holidays were really nice, we celebrated Christmas
and share some nice quality time with friends and family.
Bela got great gifts!
I also got few awesome gifts that I really needed!

I hope the Holidays for you were beautiful and magical!
Have a nice day!

This another project my mom came up with.
Bela and her used the tape rolls after I finished them and turned them into ornaments.
They used lace, ribbon, buttons, paper that I had left over
and also glue.
I added the Christmas pictures and the glitter with
the help of Bela
of Course!
A super easy project to do with kids.

I love wrapping gifts so much, I have always been a fan of the more creative wrapping.
Even though it takes a long time, it is one of the few things that makes me so relaxed.
I do it every night when my house is quiet.
I will share more at the end of this week!
These are some of our wrapping this year!

Our cat went to heaven today.
It was so sad to let her go.
We will miss her so much.

Our Capas has been sick for quite some time.
She is very skinny and looks very ill.

She doesn't eat and She looks like She is in a lot of pain.
We took her to the vet and they said she has something in her colon.
The medicine did not make her go to the bathroom,
the enema did not help or pumpkin either.
I have not seen her use her litter box for days.
We are trying to see what is best for her and
find out if she has something more serious.
Please pray for her! We want her healthy again!

This jumper will be added today to the sale!
My Mom and Bela worked in these super cute paper village
inspired by a book that belonged to my brother
MCall's Golden Do it book
I helped with few final touches but
not that much.
They used cereal boxes and any box they could find, wrapping paper,
construction paper,
magazines, glue, buttons, trims and pom poms.

I love the times that we spent together
making these colorful houses.

Very good times!

What are you making these days?
